The Bourne WI, Farnham

Who We Are

The Women's Institute (WI) was formed in 1915 and is now the largest voluntary women's organisation in the UK. It provides women the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.

The Bourne WI is a friendly group of active women from the Farnham area.

We meet at St Thomas-on-The-Bourne Hall on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 19:30.

Our meetings are a mix of talks, hands-on craft and social events with, of course, a slice of cake and a cup of tea or coffee and chat. We also choose a charity to support every year and arrange fund-raising events to support this.

Friendship is spelt "WI"
